17th century
Presence of the control stamp imposed by Louis XIV in 1657 and compulsory from 1691
which required the name of the city, the letter C or F (common or fine pewter)
and the date of 1691
Here it is therefore common pewter,
the city seems to be "Tholouze"
Presence of "LF" monogram, probably the name of the potter

The so-called common pewter was reserved for crockery, it contains a fairly high proportion
of lead (10 to 20%) (unlike the end 10%)
