A very large cabinet in ebony and ebonized wood, with engraved and sculpted decoration of mythological scenes, draped figures and scrolls of foliage, flowers and landscapes, the front opening with two doors with sculpted panels on the theme of Ovid's Metamorphoses featuring Diana and Daphne. The interior is decorated with panels painted on wood representing Sainte-Madelaine, Sainte Catherine, Saint Elisabeth of Hungary and Saint Cecilia. Opening with twelve drawers and two leaves discovering twelve small drawers. 17th century (accidents and restorations) Resting on a base with cherry red marble clones and bronze capitals from a later period.
