The pear-shaped body, the cylindrical neck and the flared pedestal with a circular edge are solid, forged in a single sheet of copper, and closed by a crenellated brass solder. The sleeved bottom is folded over the periphery of the pedestal. Long curved bottle, bridged, ending in a ringed bulge. The bridging arm and the side handle are attached to two common riveted tabs which completely encircle the edge of the collar, thus ensuring the rigidity of the latter. Dome-shaped lid with 3 stepped levels, connected to the handle by a chain. Height: 23cm. Period: 17th century. Very good condition.
