Magnificent four-leaf screen in lacquer with polychrome decoration by Morand. One side painted with flowering branches where birds evolve on a golden background with leaves. The other side decorated with gold painted bamboo on a black lacquered background. This screen is very versatile. Indeed each side presents a very different theme. The face with floral decorations can be used for a classic Asian theme. The other side is decorated with gold bamboo, for a trendy 1970s decoration. Feet reinforced and protected by a golden brass strapping. Very high quality work by Maison André Morand from the 1970s. Perfect black lacquer without scratches and in very good condition. Painting of the floral scene very removed, with pastel colors of a beautiful sensitivity. The flight of birds giving a realistic and very lively movement to the whole. Bears the label "A.
