Henri Lebasque (1865-1937) Grand master of the post-impressionist movement, Henri Lebasque marked history with his colorful creations in luminous tones. Influenced by Fauvism, he is recognized for his interior scenes (portraits and nudes of women, still lifes, portraits of children, etc.). This watercolor measures 36 X 46.5cm at sight and 62 X 73cm with the frame. It can be found in a Christie's sale of June 24, 1996. Perfect condition.
