Beautiful and elegant little in-between chest of drawers in rosewood, lemon tree and rosewood opening with two drawers with inverted curves. A marquetry in butterfly wings and cartridge characteristic of the decorative game of this cabinetmaker, provided with a very beautiful original mercury gilt bronze trim very finely chiseled. Its original marble top, also with Corbin beak, is a marble called royal red. Furniture from the Louis XV period, around 1760, of Parisian origin stamped Jean-Baptiste Detroulleau, jurande hallmark, 18th century. In perfect condition. Private collection, remained in the same family since its manufacture. Dimensions: h.87 cm x w.82 cm x d.47 cm. History: Jean-Baptiste Detroulleau was received Master on October 5, 1767. He settled in rue de Charonne, having left behind Louis XV and Louis XVI furniture in refined shapes and decorations clad in butterfly wings in threaded frames. After the death of this craftsman cabinetmaker, his widow continued her activity on rue du Parc-Royal in the Marais.
