"Baroque Side Cabinet Germany 1780"
Baroque side cabinet Germany 1780, walnut softwood body, walnut root veneer, among others, partially inlaid. On pinched ball feet, chest of drawers with three elegantly arched, repeatedly curved drawers, with rounded front corners and multiple, partly concave, angled base and rim. Above is a two-door annex in front of compartments with slightly sloping corner pilaster bands and a curved cornice at the end, also angled and hollowed out several times. Old fittings in partially gilded bronze, partially chiseled and stamped, probably restored Slight traces of age. Remains Original locks, straps and a key present. Literature: Cf.
