Rare pair of Limoges porcelain cachepots manufactured by Henri Ardant & Co. Porcelain with naturalistic decoration in relief with birds, butterflies and plants. All painted by hand on a light turquoise blue background, circled top and bottom in black and gold. Each pot cover bears the manufcature's embossed patch. Very good house condition, a cache pot has a cooking defect made up by the brown color of the floor. Period late nineteenth century.
