HE WAS A MEMBER OF THE ACADEMY OF FINE ARTS MUSEUM DE NANCY

GABRIEL PERELLE BORN IN VERNON IN 1604 AND DIED IN PARIS IN 1677 IS A FRENCH ENGRAVER.
HIS ETCHING AND SOFT ENGRAVING MAINLY REPRESENT LANDSCAPES OF THE PARIS REGION LIKE THE ONE PRESENTED. WHERE HE INTRODUCED VARIETY BY ADDING RUINS, HOUSES AND VARIOUS ACCESSORIES.
HE MADE MANY ENGRAVINGS BOTH AFTER HIS OWN DRAWINGS AND THOSE OF COMPETITORS.
