La Sorcière de Malleghem (sketch)
Pencil on paper
Titled above La Sorcière de Malleghem / Esquisse, captioned below left Harbouya plus mal n'aura / L'caillou est mort, signed bottom right Roméo Dumoulin

Note : Roméo Dumoulin, a great Belgian illustrator with a facetious art, has fun here mixing a theme taken from a famous engraving after Peter Brueghel the Elder, the Witch of Malleghem, whose art consists in extracting from men their stone of madness, and the character of Harbouya, an unfortunate patient from an old Walloon song.
