"Rectangular Table In Solid Cherry - Mid Nineteenth"
Rectangular table in light solid Cherry, dating from the middle of the 19th century. Its top is made up of 5 parts of wood pegged with sockets at the ends: note that these joints are perfectly executed, without adding any element of wood or synthetic paste. On each side, two drawers come to arrange this property in a belt, each equipped with a pull handle with a brass buckle: one is surmounted by a so-called "bread" shelf, and measures 12 cm in height, while the other displays 14 cm. This table rests on four square section legs chamfered in several areas. A wooden element, slightly in the shape of a policeman's hat, links the 2 legs together: a cat bar, particularly elegant with its height allowing your feet to be placed underneath, links the two sides together. With a design of yesteryear, this Table will mark your room with its warm color and will allow you to sit down comfortably. ******** Period: Mid-19th century Perfect condition after restoration in our workshop.
