"Renaissance Style Fireplace, Ca.1880"
A large and imposing Renaissance fireplace, found in an important Maison Maitre in Brussels. Made out of the highly valued, soft toned Saint Rémy - marble from Belgium. The stepped, almost two meters large shelf is resting on a simple panelled frieze. The voluted, bold and tapered pilasters are topped by deep fluted corbels. Raised on stepped, double footblocks. Opening of the foyer is 97 cm width and 148 cm high. This fireplace can be tastefully integrated into either a traditional or modern room. It will be a striking focal pont! Note: Photo's are taken before dismantling. Fireplace is cleaned now in my workshop and the colors are much more vivid-fresh now, see the last image for the right colors. Delivery is included old marble floortiles of Saint Rémy and Carrara, to make a frontfloor for this fireplace. We have also decor- foyer-tiles in stock, only needed if you go for a real open fire. Worldwide shippings. Delivery in Europe can be done by Antique Fireplaces First. * Beautiful Ormolu can be replaced...
