Statuette presenting a character standing on a circular base. The arms are folded over the torso. The back is scarified with chevrons. The neck is long and ringed. The face is hard and angular and is topped with an elaborate hairstyle. The basin is decorated with several pearl belts and the neck with a necklace of small white pearls.Temne people; Sierra Leone A lot of presence for this rare statuette of the Temne people.
