Important circular bas-relief "The Hell of the Luxurious". Cast bronze with medal patina made after the model of Garnier Jean-François (1820-1895). Art-Nouveau period. Rare and quality work. ∅ 57cm. TBE A signed edition (∅ 53 cm) is part of the collections of the Louvre Museum and is exhibited at the Musée d'Orsay in Paris. Another edition is part of the collections of the Museum of Lyon. Jean Garnier (1853 - 1910) is a sculptor, enameller, carver, of Vendée origin. Self-taught with complete knowledge, he also signed enamel jewelry. Artist active at the end of the 19th century. Garnier exhibited at the Salon of French Artists where he obtained an honorable mention in 1882. The tray is late 19th early 20th. It is a very decorative piece with a superb patina.
