Work from the 1930s, very inspired by his master Lucien Simon, very expressive, very slightly enhanced on the faces and hands Henry Simon born in St Hilaire de Riez (Vendée) on 28/12/1910, died on 27/ 02/1987. His teacher was Emile Simon at the Beaux Arts in Nantes, then in 1932 Lucien Simon in Paris. Commercial exhibition in Paris 1933-36-38-41-42-46-1961, he participated in the Salon d'Automne in 1937 then a major exhibition in Les Sables d'Olonne in 1971.
