"Art Deco Bronze Clock - Signed Silvestre"
Bronze Art Deco from the 1930s, this sculpture signed “Silvestre” and “frères Susse Editions Paris” represents on its base, a ball-shaped clock held by two characters to the right and left of it. The character on the right represents a child with goat's legs. The one on the left is a goat. Both seem to push the sphere in the direction of the other. The clock numeral font in golden bronze finish is typically art deco. As well as the bronze with green patina used comes from this revolutionary period of art. Signed Silvestre on the terrace and bearing the stamp of the foundry brothers Susse editions Paris.
