description Baudouin Tuerlinckx (Belgian 1873-1945): woman on a rock, modeled, signed B.TUERLINCKX on the back. Baudouin Tuerlinckx studied sculpture at the Academy of Mechelen under Rosier, and later in Brussels under Van Der Stappen. Between 1899 and 1935 he taught in Mechelen. Tuerlinckx designed several public monuments in Belgium. He liked carved wood. Base measures 14cm by 22cm
