"Pair Of Candlesticks, Candlesticks, Silver, Saint-omer, XVIIIth"
Pair of silver candlesticks, model with octagonal bases and sides, by master goldsmith Mathieu Charpentier, Saint-Omer 1739. Mathieu Charpentier was received as master goldsmith in 1700. The candlesticks are small, close to a so-called toilet model . They are still in the spirit of Louis XIV at the very beginning of the 18th century. Weight 653g. Condition, good, stamped under the base of each candlestick, no engraving.
