Exceptional and very rare Baccarat lamp forming a night light in turquoise light blue crystal opaline with decor with antique profiles in geometric interlacing. Base and lid in formerly gilded bronze with cherubs and foliage. The base is composed of 4 cherubs supporting the whole on a chiseled bronze disc of ribbons and pearls. The upper part of the lamp is perforated to let the heat of the bulb pass through, and the cover ends with a pine cone fretel. Very good house condition, the opaline neither split nor damaged.Signed Baccarat in the Bronze. Napoleon III period around 1860. The electric wire has been changed, bayonet socket.
