"Bronze Henri IV Young, After Fj Bosio - Late 19th Century"
Portraitist of Napoleon I and his family, François-Joseph Bosio, painter sculptor, Franco Monegasque, represents here a silvered bronze of the young Henri IV, known as Henri de Bourbon, with his sword. Looking handsome, in his jacket and baggy pants, one can only appreciate the youthfulness of the young King of France, with a sweet smile. Its author has contributed to prestigious commissions, such as Peace Driving on a Triumphal Chariot, which surmounts the arch of the Carrousel du Louvre. This signed, timeless work loses neither its grace nor its youth.
