"Bronze Sculpture " Monnaie De Singe " By Rolard"
François Laurent Rolard is a French artist (Paris 1842 - Paris 1912) student of Jouffroy and Crauk at the School of Fine Arts, he began at the Salon in 1867. The sculpture "monkey money" was presented at the Salon of 1884, in large size it decorated the square of Montholon in Paris, destroyed during the Occupation in 1942 it appears on postcards from the 1900s.
