Biography:
Alexis Hinsberger, born Alejo Thomas Hinsberger Martínez and called Aleix Hinsberger in Catalonia, is a French painter, draftsman, engraver, lithographer, illustrator and sculptor of Spanish origin, born in Cartagena on September 18, 1907, died in Kremlin-Bicêtre on January 6, 1996
He exhibited in numerous exhibitions in galleries in France and around the world.
In the 1970s, he created numerous sculptures in glass paste for the Daum crystal factory and, a great admirer of Gustave Doré, he also worked in the field of bibliophilic illustration, collaborating on numerous publications.
During all these years, he taught drawing and sculpture at the workshops of the Union of Artists in Ivry-sur-Seine, joining the Association of Spanish Artists and Intellectuals in France.
