"White And Gold Porcelain Cat. Japan Meiji-taisho."
Young cat in white porcelain gold splached. He is represented seated and seems to be playing with his raised paw. The spots are almost all covered in gold, the latter having more luster on a pinkish background than on white. Only the inside of the ears is left pink without gilding. Japanese work probably from Arita at the beginning of the 20th century. Below a mark in red stamped. "Made in Japan". Good condition, very slight wear from use. H: 115mm
