Two bronzes representing soldiers signed on the terrace C. Anfrie. Charles Anfrie born in 1833, French sculptor active in Paris, he exhibited at the Salon between 1883 and 1895. His work includes both French military subjects and meticulously chiseled medals. On the terrace of the Captain of the Hunters (soldier with the sword) we can read on the front "When you want", on the side: Alsace Lorraine France and Salon des Beaux Arts 1886. On the terrace of the other soldier is inscribed: " Into the breach ". The patina and details are of very good quality. Very good state. Possibility to buy a single bronze at the price of 840 €. Total weight 2.750 kg. W/D/H: 8.5 X 7 X 24.5 cm.
