Mantel mirror with large gilt wood frame molded in ogee. It is embellished, particularly at the upper corners, with shells, foliage and palmettes in relief. Falls of scrolls and foliage adorn the lower corners. The latter are flat in order to allow, as desired, the good stability of this mirror on a fireplace or on a piece of furniture. Note that a hanging ring is also present on the back of it. This item is dark with mercury glass in excellent condition.
