A Baroque gold and silver ring set with a lapis lazuli intaglio of the crucifixion.

German, circa. 1670.

Ring size K 1/2 UK / 5.5 US.

The intaglio is carved with the crucified Christ upon Golgotha between the owners initials ‘R K’. The intaglio is mounted in gold and flanked by table cut diamonds set in silver. The bezel is carved to the reverse and shoulders and retains traces of original enamel.
