Support cabinet in Boulle marquetry richly ornamented with bronzes, brass inlays on a background of tortoiseshell and topped with a luminous white Carrara marble. This blackened wooden piece of furniture is embellished with bronze rods and moldings, finely chiseled with ovals or floral garlands. The facade opens with two framed doors, whose blackened wooden surround is inlaid with parallel brass threads, accompanied by a large scalloped bronze molding. In the middle, a panel on a scale background is sumptuously decorated with brass inlays, composed of volutes, arabesques, fleurons and a basket. These doors are provided with entries in bronze depicting a child's head, the keys are adjusted and the original lock is in perfect working order. The low crosspiece is slightly cut and has a large bronze sculpture in the center. The uprights of this Napoleon III piece of furniture are canted and inlaid with brass ornaments on scales. In the upper part, a large bronze represents a cherub covering his head with a crown. In the lower part we discover a large bronze console. On the sides, the angles are fitted with spandrels. In the center is a large coat of arms surrounded by laurel leaves, ribbons, flowers, arrows and a torch. The interior of this cabinet, and its doors, is mahogany. It is composed of two adjustable shelves on racks whose edges are blackened and inlaid with brass.
