Small Mahogany Desk, Louis XVI Style - 1900

Small middle desk, in solid mahogany, above with a mitred frame whose edge is molded in grooves and coves. The center is dark with almond green leather adorned with a cold and golden vignette, and with corner and central motifs. The belt offers a large drawer, baguette in the periphery, pulling by a chiseled bronze ring. The other three faces are shaped in the same spirit. The corners, quarter-circular and recessed, are soberly carved with a flower on a granite background. This table rests on four turned and fluted legs in the central part. The interior of the drawer is in oak. We will be seduced by this small middle desk, especially for its size and the quality of its wood species.

Excellent condition. Finish only waxed after stripping. Leather refurbished.
