The Evenks or Ewenkis are one of the peoples of the southern region of the Siberian Tungus. Arid and inhospitable area; hunting is an essential part of daily life. This pretty knife intended for hunting use. The work done on the handle as well as the curve of the blade makes it a particularly characteristic and particularly remarkable weapon. Consisting of lead inlays in the wooden handle, in the style of marquetry. These marquetry-like motifs are traditional to the Evenk populations.
