Very beautiful clock in the Louis XVI style, from the Napoleon III period. Architecture made of carrara marble and quality ornamentation in gilded bronze. At each end are distributed two kneeling cherubs grabbing a wreath of laurels. Adorned at the top of a magnificent angel with butterfly wings, brandishing a torch, it rests on a fluted column where the dial is inscribed. Domed white enamel dial finely decorated with colored paint with garlands and golden hands, protected by a curved glass.
Original mechanism without modification, spiral escapement. So-called chamber clock, no ringing.
