The border is hemmed with a frieze of piastres, the collar is ringed decorated with chestnut leaves alternating with entwined geometric patterns ending in points.
The belly is supported by two chimeras of praying angels with tails of newts ending in vine leaves.
The vase is surrounded by a frieze of grooves, it is decorated with friezes of acanthus leaves, foliage scrolls and vine branches.
The base of the belly presents four reserves depicting an arrow with dolphins, caduceus surmounted by an artichoke, (symbol of the exuberance of morals since the 18th century, of human fragility among the ancient Egyptians).
