"Fleury Epinat Landscape Of Italy"
Meeting of two people on the outskirts of an Italian village. Painted with a brush in monochrome gray ink, the drawing captures this typically Italian light well. The drawing, signed lower right, is framed in a modern frame, the sheet alone measuring 30 x 23.5 cm. Fleury Epinat (1764-1830) was a pupil of Jacques Louis David and specialized in landscape following his trip to Italy.
