"A Louis XVI Ormolu-mounted Tulipwood And Rosewood Marquetry Secretaire Circa 1770"
Secretaire with flap in rosewood arranged in an X-shaped frieze surrounded by ribbons and nets in kingwood frames, with central decoration of a medallion in marquetry of flowers. It opens with a frieze drawer, a flap lined with Havana leather revealing six drawers and five compartments, two leaves in the lower part.
Canted uprights resting on triangular feet. Grooved brown veined marble top.
