"Ebony Box Louis XIV Period"
Oval box in ebony and gilded bronze from the Louis XIV period opening with a lid which reveals a cache which can be accessed by unclipping the small panel on the left. The set is veneered with native wood, ebony fillets and 'bone. It is equipped on each side with a carrying handle, a front keyhole in gilded bronze as well as a side drawer. It rests on four small gadrooned ball feet also in gilded bronze. 17th century work
