Sarough from Iran, measuring 200 cm x 303 cm, in very good condition and dating from the 1980s.
Very resistant carpet with beautiful colors, mainly brick, cream and blues applied on large foliage.
An important almost black medallion placed on a brick field, in the shape of a large flower and two large flowered pendants in the shape of a tree of life, typical of the Sarough genus accompanied by large mustaches.
The nuances are fresh and the thick and soft velvet is in very good condition.
Velvet is in very good condition, the edges impeccable, and the fringes short.
The rug is abundantly flowered and has well-designed borders, contrasting in shades of the most beautiful effect.
This carpet is a beautiful decorative and comfortable piece, so much the decor is abundant and beautifully designed and the high quality kork wool. The Sarough carpet, also known as Hamadan, the Ecbatana of Antiquity, is knotted in a few villages near Sarouk in the agricultural region of Arak.
