"Pierre Adrien Dalpayrat, Globular Teapot In Blue Enamelled Sandstone Decorated With Chevrons, XIXth"
Pierre-Adrien Dalpayrat (1844-1910). Globular teapot in flamed blue and red enameled "ox blood" stoneware, decorated with five chevrons in relief on either side. Circa 1900. Unsigned, but referenced model. A similar model with a gilded silver mount is in the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. A stamp with this model of teapot was issued in 1994.
