"Pierre Adrien Dalpayrat, Globular Teapot In Blue Enamelled Sandstone Decorated With Chevrons, XIXth"
Pierre-Adrien Dalpayrat (1844-1910). Globular teapot in flamed blue and red enameled "ox blood" stoneware, decorated with five chevrons in relief on either side. Circa 1900. Unsigned, but referenced model. A similar model with a gilded silver mount is in the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. A stamp with this model of teapot was issued in 1994. Good used condition, chips on the edge of the base, without lid. 25cm high approx. Shipping costs included for France, rest of the world contact me before buying thank you.
