Colette talks about her successive moves to Paris, claiming not to favor them and attributing them to fate. She evokes, among other places, the rue de Villejust, the rue Jacob, the chalet de Passy, the apartment on the Champs-Elysées... and the last haven of Colette: the apartment on the first floor at 9, rue de Beaujolais.
Dignimont (1891-1965)
Famous French illustrator, friend of many writers including Colette to whom he was very close.
