"Delft 18th Century"
Very rare shaped piece with dragons, decorated in blue camailleu with flowers and animated landscapes (view from loenen on the VECHT river....?). Object of an immense enthusiasm, the blue of DELFT was collected by the richest families of the whole world. This unique piece (no similar listed to date), it bears the initials (JVDH), which are those of the ceramist JAN VAN DER HAGEN), who worked in a very short period (1738 to 1764). It is therefore very easy to date this piece, between (1738 and 1764). This masterpiece without any doubts was executed in the workshops of the "HET JONG MORIANSHOOFT" factory, factory founded in 1658. Note some small chips, as well as a collage at the level of the wing of the small drangon ( visible on the photo).Height: 35cm
