Pair of doors, tapestries typical of Aubusson, depicting bouquets of roses and hollyhocks in melted shades of pink, 19th century, in very good condition, small traces of very melted use, These old wall tapestries have were woven by hand in France, circa 1850. Called "Portière", Portiere tapestries are tall, thin wall hangings that were hung on either side of doors, they can find their place on either side of windows or doors, in a hallway , stair climbing or other
