Oil-on-canvas painting by Venetian painter Carlo CHERUBINI (Anona 1897-1978 Venice) made around the 1950s.The work in question presents a seated female nude in the foreground; behind her are masked figures (traceable to the mask of Harlequin), very recognizable and characteristic subjects of Cherubini's artistic production. In the background is a Venetian landscape.
The vibrant, luminous pictorial drafting characterized by bright colors is also particularly evocative and identifying of the painter.
The state of preservation is good. The work is signed at lower right.
