Colossal incense burner in cast bronze representing the divine carp ridden by the fisherman who spared her when she was little. To reward him, she takes him to paradise and immortality. Wooden base. Very good quality cast and chiseled bronze. Bronze sculptures of this quality and size are usually made for universal exhibitions. We haven't found any trace of it yet. Despite the quality this sculpture is anonymous. Good condition, a few small accidents (missing the end of 2 feathers from the eagle's tail and a ribbon from the character's dress.
