Three-drawer Box Of Chinese Scope, Late 19th Century With Floral Decoration
Three-drawer box with closing panel of Chinese ambit, datable to the late 1800s.
The box is made of lacquered wood, on all sides there are plant and floral decorations, having as subject a pond with flowers among which it is also possible to distinguish on the main side of the removable panel the presence of a rooster.
The decorations are in relief in some places and are made with golden and colored lacquers.
Once the closing panel is removed, the three small drawers with small handles made of brass are revealed; on the fronts there are golden petal decorations.
At the top is a brass handle, while at the bottom the box rests on top of four wooden pedestals.
The overall condition of the box is good, it shows minimal signs of wear on some of the latteral faces, given by use and time.
