"Bust In Terracotta "girl With Mats Dite La Boudeuse" After Saly XIX"
Patinated terracotta bust in bronze color with brown patina after Jacques François Joseph SALY (1717-1776) representing a girl with braids also called "La Boudeuse", XIX th century. We will notice the sulky mood of the little girl in the expression of her face as well as the delicacy of her plaited hairstyle, the harmonious movements of her bun and the curves of her hair. It rests on a turquin blue marble pedestal (formerly glued). Beautiful realization, work of sculpture and proportions reflecting the style of the 18th century, beautiful patina. The original work is currently in the Louvre Museum in Paris.
