Very pretty little naturalistic painting of a snowfield in a high mountain gully around 1935 by the Lyon painter Daniel Gloria (1908-1989) whose biography and an overview of the works you have attached: https://www.danielgloria.frIn his first period he often painted landscapes around the town of Valloire in Savoie, and our landscape could be a mountain pass in the region.
The spontaneous and calm touch, testifies to a seasoned artist and the chromaticism in pinkish beige tones, depicts the atmosphere of a sunrise between two rocky slopes.
Oil on strong cardboard in perfect condition signed "D. Gloria" lower right, size: 9,3 x 7 Inches outside its original frame.
