"Wall Console With Ice Background - Venetian Baroque"

Original polychromy and gilding-
Rare and Generous Wall console in finely carved and gilded wood, with a top with a very daring beveled glass bottom, thus enhancing the pieces placed on it and reflecting the light -
Italian work, Venetian baroque resting on four elegantly arched legs joined by a spacer centered with a large shell –
89 x 124 x 47 cm. Small lack on the left of the glass top.
Good condition - Patina of use Nervous rockery sculpture curving inwards -
The decoration with motifs of foliage, flowers, shells or staples, as well as the openwork sculptures make this console a production of the Louis period XV.
