He received an honorable mention there in 1887. Like his father, his work essentially focused on Women. His drawings of dancers were frequently reproduced in Le Figaro illustré. • Pierre Carrier-Belleuse took part in the Universal Exhibition of 1889 and won a silver medal there. • He joined the National Society of Fine Arts in 1890, and was named a member there in 1893. • In 1895, Carrier-Belleuse was named president of the International Society of Painting and Sculpture. • In 1920, he was named Rosati d'honneur.
