Pair Of Travel Scissors, Engraved Steel, Louis XV, 18th Century,

Pretty little straight scissors for travel, (multifunction: nails, sewing, minor surgery), ornate steel,  finely engraved around rings and on flat levers, no doubt once gilded, French work from the 18th century, which must have been nestled in a Louis XV period "necessaire", solid scissors, straight branches, oval rings, shell bases, beautiful head screw.
Dimensions = 8.8cm and 3.5cm.
Condition is good, with of course traces of wear, from normal use..
