Circa 1840-1860 France Cashmere shawl with harlequin cartouches dating from the Louis-Philippe period, early Second Empire. Long woven shawl cut on a loom with eight harlequin cartridges in orange, green, white and red. Fine tight weave with vegetal decoration and large boteh. Large rectangular black reserve in black silk twill. Perfect state of color and conservation. Dimensions: 161 cm x 328 cm and 7 cm of fringes
