Beautiful 18th century ink wash representing riders (military) on horseback in a landscape. Very finely executed by François Hubert, engraver and draftsman born in 1744 in Abbeville and died in 1809 in Paris. he engraved portraits, genre scenes and military costumes. Referenced in Bénézit, dictionary of painters, sculptors, designers and engravers. Dimensions at sight, 13.5 cm x 7.5 cm. Framed, 26cm x 20cm.
