"Small Commode In Mahogany From Cuba, Return From Egypt Empire - Early Nineteenth"
Beautiful chest of drawers in solid Cuban mahogany and veneer, topped with a small Belgian granite marble, opening with three identical drawers of good height in mahogany. These drawers are adorned with original gilt bronze "lion's head" ring handles, and also an original lock, with bronze entry and adjusted Empire key. Dust covers complete this property. The sides and bottoms of the drawers, back and parquet top of this chest of drawers are in oak. This piece of furniture rests on a plinth slightly projecting and molded with a groove. We find at the front of the claw feet "lions paws" in blackened wood. The sides of the furniture are made of a single recessed panel, without cracks.
